Are we headed irreversibly towards catastrophe or do we have what it takes to fundamentally remake our world in time, sustainably, regeneratively and equitably? If so, who are the people and organisations that drive the transition to a sustainably regenerative negative carbon economy and a better life for all? To shed some light on these questions we have created Reboot2030, a podcast and YouTube channel that engages transformational leaders in ongoing dialogues about their vision and work. Whilst in principle no topic or perspective is off-limit, all contributors are asked to answer the following question:
If at the end of a Reboot Dialogue both sides feel that we have not fully exhausted the topic in question or that we can take this further, we may invite contributors back and, if we do so at least once a year, ask them to become regular Democracy School dialogue partners. Should we come across an issue during a regular Reboot Dialogue that would make for an interesting (online) round table, we may consider organising a Reboot Special, where, as an extension to that dialogue, we invite additional subject matter experts to discuss the issue in depth. As a matter of principle, we aim to cultivate long-term relationships. By engaging our contributors in an ongoing dialogue about their work (and vision), we help them both to build and sustain momentum and to reflect on and chronical their transformational journey for future generations. Anyone interested in participating in a Reboot Dialogue is invited to submit, via the contact form provided here, a short proposal that addresses the above question in no more than 50 words.
