Narrative-based Action Learning

Our distinctive methodology develops collective capacity to address complex challenges through structured narrative engagement. Rather than seeking premature consensus, we create "scenario narratives" that capture telling situations within complex challenges, bringing diverse perspectives into productive tension. This process reveals dimensions no single viewpoint could illuminate and uncovers possibilities prefiguratively present in the situation. Originally developed with local governments, it now transforms community development, organizational change, and cross-sector collaboration by making complexity manageable without oversimplification.
